Memorial Day Services In Scotland Marked By Large Attendance
Memorial Day observances in Scotland included morning worship at the Presbyterian church led by Rev. Wilcox and a large afternoon gathering. The Woman's Relief Corps organized songs recitations and speeches, with Oscar Lee delivering Gettysburg Address and Florence Brown reading A Tribute To The Honored Dead. A parade to the cemetery followed with graves decorated by children and a service for unknown dead.
