Harold Weston recalls an ornate Persian dinner with Gauged host Asseyed Khan and family. Guests endure long tea sips, rigid etiquette, and a feast of carved woodware, banter on robber tales, and a bold tasting of fatty morsels as the khan guides manners and meals.
Dr Arthur F Hurst of Guy's Hospital explains phantom pain in healed wounds. He says the mind retains the sensation after the original hurt fades, not from abnormal nerve activity, and that patients improve quickly when the issue is clearly explained.

A damaged OCR fragment shows a cryptic exchange about padding and wealth. The lines reference a man who can get immensely rich without acquiring a table, but the meaning remains unclear.
Official notice from Bon Homme County South Dakota Treasurer Chas E Bixby announces a tax sale for lands and lots delinquent since 1919 and earlier. Sale to commence on the second Monday in June 1920 at 9 AM and close at 4 PM in the courthouse at Tyndall. Tax, penalties, interest and advertising costs apply with specific parcels listed and offered for sale.
