The South Dakota State Fair in Huron runs September 13 to 18 featuring livestock exhibits, foods, apparel and daily shows. Auto races and acrobatics accompany the educational fair aimed at improving livestock production and showcasing premium livestock stock advancements.
State College agronomist Dr. A N Hume advises sowing timothy seed in corn around late July or early August and covering lightly between rows with a one horse cultivator. Recommend mixing equal weights of timothy clover and alfalfa, sown separately and clean of weeds, about 15 pounds per acre for the mixture.

Vaclav Stverak seeks to discharge a mortgage on North East Quarter section 21 in 96-59 W Bon Homme County South Dakota. Mortgage dated March 10 1899 by Christian Reister to Margaretha Reister was paid but not discharged. Margaretha is dead with no representative. Hearing set Sept 7 1920 at Yankton Court House. publish notice in Citizen-Republican for three weeks.
Sealed bids will be received at the County Auditor office in Tyndall South Dakota until 2 PM August 20 1920 for six standard beam bridges per South Dakota Highway Commission plans. Plans at the Auditor. Bid bond ten percent. Must use Highway Commission forms. County may reject any bid.
