Wiggins and Clawson on the old Williamson farm southwest of Vilas announce a big sale Thursday January 14. The sale features cattle and horses, 13 head of sheep, a lot of farm implements, household goods and feed. The sellers plan to move to New Mexico and are liquidating all items.
Railroad and Warehouse Commissioners of Missouri inspected the Missouri lines of the Santa Fe on October 7, 1901 and praised the property. They noted well maintained right of way, ongoing drainage work, good ballast, steel bridges replacing wooden structures, and depots and stock-pens in commendable condition.
