Erie hosts a central committee meeting of the Anything-to-beat-the Republicans group which called a convention for August 12. Senator Jacob O Gallinger’s Prosperity Is the Issue speech in Washington is issued by the American Protective Tariff League as Document No 75 with a request for a free copy from W B Wakeman in New York.
