Indian Music at Caldwell Lyceum Opens Thursday
The Caldwell Lyceum course opens Thursday at dh church with the Little Symphony orchestra directed by Thurlow Lieurance. The program features Indian Guric themes and Lieurance numbers including Waters of Minnetonka and Indian Love Song, performed by four violins a pianist and a soprano, under Lieurance’s direction. The Idaho Pocahontas chapter Daughters of the American Revolution met at Mrs Jay Galligan s Dearborn Street home with 29 members present. Mrs H W Stowe read a paper on The Mayflower Pilgrim. Plans were set for Christmas charities thrift work and Americanization. A Thanksgiving food drive and silver tea were planned for Sagueday November 20. Lunch was served during the social hour.
