Boise Valley water users to pay contract price ruling
Judge Dietrich of the United States court at Boise ruled that farmers under Pioneer and Nampa Meridian irrigation districts cannot be compelled to pay more than their contract price for Boise Valley project construction. The Payette Boise Water Users association sought equal sharing of costs among all water users. The decision upholds paying actual construction costs rather than inflated rates set by the Interior Department.

Automobiles plunge off mountain road killing two
Charles A. Oakes Caldwell businessman and county treasurer deputy, and Miss Jessie Snodgrass local photographer, were killed when the touring car they rode in left the Boise area mountain road. Mrs Oakes and Miss Snodgrass were badly injured along with Miss Sturgeon. the crash followed gear trouble and loss of control on the steep grade. Several others were rescued as the car plunged down the incline damaged beyond recognition.

Interurban Crash Kills Six Near Nampa
Six people died and a seventh was seriously injured when a car driven by J Ulery of Nampa collided with an interurban near the Weideman crossing four miles east of Nampa on a Sunday evening. Motorman HL Marks applied brakes but the car was demolished. The dead include J Ulery his wife and two daughters and Charles Shrellabarger and Aron V e Nampa district.
