The Payette Boise Water Users Association held its first annual meeting with full shareholder representation. Directors were re-elected, and reports from districts show strong contract signing progress with 830 landowners pledging over 79,000 acres. Heart Rending Accident Near Middleton Idaho
A tragic household accident near Middleton Idaho on January 12 1905 left a baby badly burned when the older child knocked the infant against the stove. The flames consumed the child before aid arrived as Mrs Ellis was momentarily away from the kitchen.
Lecture and concert series to aid College of Idaho funds

Emmett To Boom As Lumber Industry Expands
Emmett is set for a building boom with four and a half million feet of timber slated for new homes and outbuildings. W E Davis plans to cut three million feet for private dwellings while John McNish at Smiths Ferry will harvest four million feet, boosting output by one million feet from last year. The town anticipates ample work for both skilled workers and laborers this year.
