Tragic Farm Accident Claims Life of Tom Hannah

News travels from Caldwell and Lower Boise of Tom Hannah's death at George Staffords ranch six miles north of Caldwell. A derrick accident during hay loading caused a 40 foot drop from the fork to the ground, fracturing his spinal column near the brain base and ending his life within minutes. He leaves Ida Stafford, his wife, his parents Y D and a large family. funeral held by Parma Lodge with Odd Fellows and Woodmen floral tributes.

Tragedy at Dry Creek Ends in Double Suicide and Murder

Walter Scott, a stockman, returned home to find his wife with Harper Duncan. He shot Duncan with a 30-40 rifle, then killed his wife. After leaving the ranch on horseback he rode toward Jordan Valley and, near town, told a friend of the killings before shooting himself. Duncan is Jap Duncan’s brother. his parents live near Nampa. Details are scarce due to distance.

Nampa man jailed for larceny after conviction

Deputy Sheriff Perkhiser took charge of a Nampa tradent convicted of larceny with a 30 day sentence at the Thorp hotel. This adds to the jail population as four inmates, all listing Nampa as their address.
