Accident Victim Improves After Stagecoach Crash

John Avenenaga, Jordan Valley stage driver, regained consciousness at a local hospital about 1 am Friday. He had been unconscious for about 16 hours after his stage overturned Thursday morning. He now shows signs of recovery though chest injuries and several broken ribs may bring complications. Passenger Groseman, from Horse Wholesale, also recovering with less severe injuries. Croysman suffered a facial wound after being thrown from the track onto the highway.

College of Idaho Dramatic Team Wins Meet

The College of Idaho dramatic team, coached by Mrs. R. B. Scatterday, took first place at the intercollegiate dramatic contest in Pocatello. Gooding College took second as Albion Normal, Pocatello Technical Institute and Ricks College tied for third. William McHose won first in oratory, Miss Marjorie Morgan took second, and Miss Dorothy Payne earned third in humor.

The College of Idaho student body plans a busy spring with a senior class play Only 38 at the American Theatre on April 2. Cups To Be Awarded At Southern Idaho Interscholastic Meet

Three silver loving cups will be awarded at the southern Idaho interscholastic meet in Caldwell. One cup to the winning team, one to the top individual, and one to the winning relay team. J R Cleaver handles the orders and preparations are under way for athletes from Caldwell and surrounding southern Idaho. The meet serves as a qualifying event for the state interscholastic meet at Moscow the following week under the University of Idaho.
