Citizens approve a September Market Day with Governor Burke to speak and a new schoolhouse corner stone ceremony. The Tribune reports on local events, business, politics, and community happenings from Bowbells, including plant work, sales, and upcoming fairs.
Dr. Limburg treats the 3 year old son of Mr and Mrs Pieter K Pieterson for severe stomach trouble. Cholera infantum is widespread among local infants. Dr Doe performs delicate surgery on Mrs C B Robbins at her home northeast of Bowbells. Heating plant bids for the new Bowbells School District No 29 are due Oct 18 with bonds required. Wheat marketing shows strong yields as threshing continues and farmers report gains of two to six bushels per acre.
Sealed bids will be received by the District Board of Bowbells School No 25 Ward County North Dakota up to noon on Tuesday 1908 for the event a takant in the district hoard of said Bowbells School No 23. Clerk N. F. Andrews.
