Two Die In Great Northern Wreck Near Tunbridge
In Minot North Dakota on November 20 engineer Isaac Wright and fireman William O’Leary died when Great Northern fast mail No 28 collided with a freight train a half mile west of Tunbridge at 12 25 am. Wright was thrown from the cab and O Leary was crushed between engine and tender. Five others were injured including Conductor R C Wynn and Ned Price. The wreck halted near Tunbridge as crews worked to free bodies and transport the injured to Rugby and Minot.

Attempt 10 Burn Kenmare Hotel Fire in Kenmare N D
Kenmare North Dakota November 18 a daring hotel fire near the Florence hotel where two gallons of kerosene were poured as guests slept. Night clerk Melvin Chatman crawled through smoke to raise the alarm and later fished the flaming can from the sitting room. Firefighters used extinguishers to subdue the blaze. Several guests escaped in night attire with burns and injuries.
