The body of 8 Bergman was found beneath his overturned car near Gar Dar in Grafton North Dakota on November 15. He died within about 15 minutes from a moth ering after the auto left a branch track to a sandpit and overturned over a four foot drop. Six children aged 2 to 12 survived. Hospital Must Pay County Tax in Kenmare
Minot ND November 13 Approximately 1300 in taxes on the Lakeside hospital at Kenmare were removed from the county tax list in 1921 as exempt but ordered restored by Ward county commissioners on the recommendation of the state attorney after a tax commission letter. The hospital owned by North Dakota Conference Board of hospital homes deaconess and White Cross of the Methodist Episcopal church was leased to Lakeside Hospital association. The board notes the property may be religious or charitable but leased to private parties for operation.

Max Lowe of near Northgate was arrested Sunday by Deputy Sheriff Masters in Flaxton for possessing intoxicating liquor. Bound over to district court under a $500 bond. released after posting. Laws and Allan, both from Northgate, were fined $10 and costs for drunken and disorderly conduct. Complaint led to Lowe's second arrest by county authorities.
