Fatal fall follows horse accident near Cadyville

In a rural mishap near Cadyville on March 7, 1920, Mr and Mrs B Cudpurbi hosted a gathering at their estate when a horse bolted striking a man who was riding it. He sustained a fractured skull and died on the way home. The victim had married Miss Barah Cavin of Cadyville on November 10, 1915.

Christian Kalmbach and Nona Spiker Marry at County Court

Christian Kalmbach and Nona Spiker wed Wednesday afternoon at the courthouse with County Judge I F Carter officiating. Kalmbach, a farmer living across the lake near Nevisgate, came here about a year ago. Spiker moved from Wells County in February and stayed with the David Eymann household. The couple traveled to town with Mr and Mrs Eymann, who served as witnesses at the ceremony. The Tribune extends congratulations.

Local youth rescues self from yard drowning incident

Leonard Marklund, four year old son of Mr and Mrs Leonard Marklund of Scranton, fell into a western yard drain but kept afloat by grabbing the drain pipe until playmates and his aunt Ed Kirkne rallied to help.
