Death of Mrs R Mertes in Bowbells Arrives From Avon
The Late Mrs R Mertes died Friday March 13 from typhoid fever at Robert Mertes home in Bowbells. She recently arrived from Avon Minnesota as the bride of Robert Mertes, a Bowbells resident. Undertaker Gus Kirschner prepared the remains for shipment to Avon, Minnesota, the home of the deceased’s parents. The husband and family receive the community’s sympathy in this hour of bereavement.
