A large Burke county theft gang sweeping the region for months faces a cleanup after confessions by Jack Dolan, arrested near Roche Percee with a team of horses from C Mensing. Dolan, jailed in Minot, plans to plead guilty. six others, including Adam Barge and his sons of Flaxton, are held on grand larceny and burglary charges. Man charged with giving whiskey to 10 year old boy in Bowbells
Winters, manager of the local barber shop, was arrested on a warrant charging him with giving intoxicating liquor to a minor. H. H. Coleman alleges his 11 year old son came home drunk. Winters bound over to district court with $1,000 bond, bailed out. Coleman boy had worked in the shop and reportedly said Winters gave him the liquor. Alda Siverling becomes owner of the Alfred Harden blacksmith shop north of the city and will move tools to Perella north of Bowbell to operate a shop there. Harden considers his plans unsettled and may travel to Montana seeking work or a new location.
