Kinsella Boy 15 Again In Trouble
James Kinsella aged 13 son of T J Kinsella from near Newport was arrested Tuesday by Sheriff Stainhoffer at Harvey on a warrant sworn by his father charging him with vagrancy and incurable. He left home after punishment, was found two weeks later, and awaits a hearing that could send him to reform school. He said he rode to Flaxton with a neighbor and then to Harvey by freight train.

Does farming pay in Crosby county as shown by one year
In May 1908 James Moore of Crosby North Dakota bought land for 2100 dollars. He faced costs from a steam rig incident and later planted wheat, harvesting 3860 bushels in 1909 and selling 400 bushels at 95 cents and the rest at 1.05 per bushel. In 1910 he threshed 1400 bushels at 1.01 per bushel. Land was rented in both seasons. Despite a poor year Crosby claims profits over 4800 dollars in under three years on a 2100 dollar investment, prompting debate on farming viability.
