Railroad Man Killed at Minot in Yard Accident
James I Davis a 4 brakeman for the Great Northern was fatally injured about 9 80 last night in the eastern Minot yard as he attempted to uncouple a rebuilt engine. He slipped while reaching for a step and was crushed under the tender wheels suffering internal injuries and losing blood before dying at St Josephs hospital. Engineer Arthur N Sheridan witnessed the accident and attempted to stop the locomotive. The body was taken to Van Fleet's for burial. Hans Olson of near Minot has had an acute appendicitis attack.
