Thief Caught Trying to Sell Team at Estevan
A team of horses owned by C. C. Mensing near Estevan vanished during a blizzard over two weeks ago and was recovered after a man tried to sell them in Estevan, Sask. The thief fled but was arrested near Roche Percee by the Canadian mounted police and held on charges of bringing stolen property and smuggling. Mensing retrieved his horses. local officials seek extradition or transfer to Burke County authorities as Canada and the United States authorities confer.

Kidnapped Girl Found. Father to Reclaim in Superior
Minnewaukan North Dakota reports James Michaels, father of a 12 year old kidnapped three months ago from Grahams Island school, has affidavits from local business men supporting his claim. Kulm North Dakota February 19 Returning a license to marry a 72 year old woman and securing a second permit to wed a 73 year old man created a flurry of action. Christian Hegel aged 77 and his bride count 150 years together and feel as young as a couple a third their ages. Last week Hegel obtained a license and Marie Neuman appeared with him but the license was canceled and a new one issued naming Mrs Rosina Schultz. It was argued the 72 year old was too young.
