Dan Brophy, a farmer southeast of dimoetown North Dakota, sent $50 by mail to Fargo for a job. Jack Flinch, employed recently in Fargo, wired $50 to Jamestown and returned. A December fire at J W Allen's moving picture theatre in Hankinson North Dakota destroyed three frame buildings on Main Street causing about 15000 in losses. Insurance covered 4500.
