Frank Conson of Bayfield Wisconsin is bound over to district court on charges of writing four five dollar checks with insufficient funds totaling about 100 dollars. He admitted passing 60 dollars in Fargo and signed various names including W P Geady. He was wanted in Grand Forks and Crookston and jailed in default of $250 bail.

Youth 18 Killed Near Dunn Center Ranch
Fargo reports Gerald Betts 18 son of John Betts a local farmer was instantly killed while rounding up cattle on the family ranch. He vaulted a barbed wire fence on a horse that fell and rolled over him causing a broken neck and crushed skull. Local authorities treat the incident as a fatal riding accident.
