Man 127 Years Old Dies in North Dakota

The elderly resident Igger Lou Williams of North Dakota died early Sunday at Grand Forks county poor farm and hospital in Arvid. He had been ill for several days and centuries of feebleness preceded his death. Williams loved chickens and knew them by name tending to them till the end. Clad in a shiny silk hat and matching clothes he visited Grand Forks yearly and greeted acquaintances. He was noted as a fine example of the era and his life was linked to tobacco and liquor use earlier in life, though he quit tobacco recently. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the poor farm with many old timers mourning.
