Tribune Plans New Standard High Speed Automatic Press
The Tribune will install a Standard High Speed Automatic Press shipped from Hartford on March 24. A Chicago machinist will erect and train staff, then publish attractive prices as the press promises up to 5000 sheets per hour, replacing hand feeding and boosting quality and efficiency. It is the first of its kind in North Dakota with few in Minnesota and South Dakota.

Farmer of Means Drinks Strychnine in Despair
William Burke Buyke, a 50 year old farmer from 12 miles north of Minot, North Dakota, drank strychnine and died soon after. He had been despondent since his wife’s death.
