Charles C. Curry and Miss Lucille P. Woodward were married at the bride’s parents home in this city on Monday morning by Rev. E. A. Schlaman. The couple will reside in Woodburn Oregon and were seen off with a wedding breakfast after the ceremony. The bride, raised here, has many friends wishing them happiness. Also noted is a government wheat acreage estimate near 9 million acres and a 125 million bushel yield, with North Dakota contributing a record 25 million plus bushels.

Ten Days Sentence for Gunman After Dual Trials

Central School Opens New Pupils and Activities
Since September 9 new pupils entered the school including Amanda Nelson in first grade and Annie Clark in fourth grade. Visitors included Mrs. Barnum and Mr. Cathro. Afternoon session moved to 1 30 and end time to 4 00 p m. Grades plan organ and playground games. Sixth graders prepare language work booklets. A literary society formed with officers elected on September 18. Meetings set twice monthly from 7 to 8 p m with fees used to enlarge the library and buy a musical instrument. First program October 3 in the fourth grade room. The pupils invite you to come entertainment.
