Pardons Board Denies Frank H. Hamilton Application

The state board of pardons refused the pardon request of Frank H. Hamilton of Minneapolis. Hamilton was convicted of causing the death of Leonard Day after a row at the West Hotel two years ago and is serving a seven year term at the penitentiary.

Farmer Killed In Wagon Accident Near Minnewaukan

A farmer near Minnewaukan North Dakota was thrown from a wagon and killed when his team of horses, found wandering on Graham Island by hunters, broke from the wagon into a ditch. The deceased, John Vonelda, was found face down in water with no injuries on the body. An inquest ruled death by neck fracture from the fall.
