Warner Chosen to Fill Vacancy on Central Committee

The Central Committee filled the vacancy caused by Lloyd W. Wells’s withdrawal selecting J. B. Warner of Antler North Dakota as its nominee. Warner has training in architectural drawing structural design and civil engineering and previously worked as a civil engineer for the Great Northern railway. Dr D K Thyng Willow City is the party’s coroner candidate a veteran medical practitioner and Minnesota medical graduate known for his longstanding county reputation.

Willow City Youth Club Formed After Play Incident

Lenet, an 80 year old performer, fell asleep during a show and toppled from a buzzard roost to the floor, needing aid. A gentleman claims to have been unconscious for a period and could not say whether the fall or the play caused his condition. Sixteen Willow City young women organized a social club last week.

Faust Again at the Opera House delivers grand Faust production

Frederick J. Wilson and the Porter White Co. bring a full choir and renowned stage effects to Detroit for Faust on November 9. Kindergarten Opens at Presbyterian Church Sabbath School Room

The kindergarten will open Monday morning Nov 5 with Miss Jennie White in charge. Tuition is up to $2 per child monthly, reduced if enrolment exceeds twenty. Expenses for fuel and two children’s tables will be shared by enrolled families. Ages three to six admitted. Sessions run 9:30 to 11:30 and 1:30 to 8:30. Inquiries after 4 p.m. at the school house.
