Early Bottineau settler Thomas Gibson dies at 71
Thomas Gibson died Friday afternoon March 13 at his Bottineau home aged nearly 71. Born April 17 1838 in Seaforth Canada he married Penelope Davis March 11 1868. He moved to Bottineau in 1885 became a charter Baptist deacon and long served despite years of rheumatism.
