Rival towns loom in Harmony and Concord duel
A fragmented historical tale follows Herbert as he navigates factional strife between Concord and Harmony in a tense county seat bid. Key figures include Miss Viandingham, Col. Keever, and Pettibone as power plays, traps, bribery, and a violent pursuit shape the election. Concord’s victory hinges on votes from Amityville and clashes with Harmony allies.
