Operation for cancer on Hazel Fox’s jaw
Doctors Mac Kay and Johnson performed a rare surgery on Wednesday removing a large section of Hazel Fox’s upper jaw and bone behind the nose. The eight year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Chas Fox with a cancerous growth endured the operation well and there is hope for a cure.

Funeral of L. P. LeMay at Tarsus
The funeral of L. P. LeMay, longtime pioneer, was held Monday at 10 o'clock in Tarsus. Father Campeau preached the sermon and Father Bachand said Mass. LeMay, born in Quebec about 73 years ago, moved with his family to Minnesota, served in the Civil War with three brothers, and later homesteaded in Mendota before settling in Bottineau.
