State Nonpartisan League Convention Opens in Bismarck
The State Convention of the National Nonpartisan League met in Patterson Hall Bismarck on January 14 1921 at 2 PM with delegates from every North Dakota county. R H Walker Oliver county was chosen chairman and G P Nye Griggs secretary. Governor Frazier received ovations as delegates showed enthusiasm for the Industrial program. Four resolutions were adopted praising A C Townley and League leadership and pledging support for organizers in Nebraska Kansas and other states. Ten nominees were named to form the state executive committee with five to be elected later. results to be printed in the North Dakota Leader.
