Miss Elizabeth Page of West Hope visited the School of Forestry at the start of the week. Robert Parker Miles gave an interesting talk on Opportunity last Tuesday morning, enjoyed by all. Fine weather last week made walking to the school through mud and water disagreeable, and a sidewalk is badly needed by spring.

Thaulow Hovda, ill for two weeks, is returning to Grand Meadow Minnesota. The school regrets his departure. Students anticipate baseball fever if warm weather continues as they plan a team this year. The literary and debating society met last Friday with an engaging program. The debate on whether navigation owes more to the world than railroads was well argued despite absences. The affirmative won 4 to 1.

Well attended banquet and dance honored Bottineau Odd Fellows visitors from Bottineau Lodge No 87 Westhope encampment degrees installed by Erie Encampment No 18. Westhope lodge grew to nearly sixty members and fourteen applied for encampment degrees. A special sermon for youth and an anthem by a new choir are planned with a 7:30 p.m. service and a 11 a.m. popular service next Sunday.
