Seventeen Bottineau county farmer breeders signed and formed a Short Horn cattle association on February 15 in Bottineau. A. H. White was named president with R. M. Trimble and T. T. Cleven as officers and directors. Members will share stock lists and arrange large purchases to improve pure bred cattle herds while supporters stress the industry’s growth. Also noted was a Sunday mat service at Lansford and a gym event where Bill and Dick McGinty of Grano settled a grudge in two falls.
