District Court Adjourns After Busy Term
The November and February terms of the district court adjourned with juries discharged and several cases continued. Verdicts in Geiser Manufacturing Company v. Berger and Stewart and FE. B. QUally v. Krebs favored plaintiffs. Virgo was sentenced to ninety days and a $200 fine for malicious killing of sheep, with costs. A judge scolded attorneys over notices of appeal and set up future terms, while a Valentine ad and a school column followed.
