Forestry defeated Rugby 19 to 11 in a hard fought game that left the outcome undecided until the final whistle. Gage opened scoring for Rugby, but Miller and Forestry then took the lead, the first half ending 8 to 5 with Forestry in control. The second half saw Forestry extend the margin amid rough play and fouls.
