Mrs Martin Wins Watermelon Contest at Bottinen Store

The Bottinen Drag Co. hosted a watermelon contest with prizes awarded after seeds were counted. Ted White Gyliu claimed swallowing a seed, boosting the guess to 900, the winning total for Mrs Carl Martin. Nearest prizes went to Mrs L B Wolf, Miss Minnie Brown, and Mrs J F Haskett, with several others named as further near guesses. The church services Sunday include a sermon on The Life That is Light and a first in a Ten Commandments series on Having the Right God.
