John Cornwell returned from Orr North Dakota where he attended school this winter. Rev T F Kueseff and wife left for Utah to begin missionary work. Samuel Dunbar visited Bottineau and is recovered enough to move about daily.
Jamestown was chosen at a Fargo meeting to host the state Republican convention on July 12 marking the first time the event will be held outside Fargo or Grand Forks. Delegates from counties will fill vacancies due to nonattendance as the apportionment was finalized.
North Dakota Attorney General Finch rules that the fee payment provision in chapter 100 of the 1905 primary election law is unconstitutional. The opinion permits enforcement of all other provisions and directs county auditors to accept nominating petitions without fees. Also notes delegates to the convention should be signed and filed after notices of apportionment are published. Business for sale notice follows about Antler and Rugby trade.

A meeting at the opera house Tuesday elected C. L. Newhouse chair and A. O. Anderson secretary. Short talks by A. G. Burr Rev. Coutts and Senator McArthur followed. On Wednesday afternoon April 25, Mr Jobo J Gaséll and Miss Hattie E Lepley were united in matrimony at the Methodist parsonage with Rev Charles E White officiating. The couple, longtime Antler residents, left on the afternoon train for Antler to begin their future home amid a small group of friends and witnesses.
