Valencia County Road Board names new chair and districts
At the September meeting Valencia County Road Board elected Mr. Baca as chair replacing Mr. Raff. Several district supervisor changes followed with Elias Sanchez Seboyeta Burt Wetmore Laguna Adolfo Blea Grant San Rafael and Pablo Pino San Mateo named. The engineer was ordered to set up road drag systems and surveys widen roads south of Belen ahead of grading. A Bosque district near the Socorro line is created. Engineer Hitchcock will visit western areas next week to inspect roads and guide new supervisors. Grading and bridge work from Peralta to Los Lunas is complete and roads are in good shape for travel.
