Oscar Goebel Jr returns from a duck hunting trip to find a new clerk in charge of the store. A compromise creates a family shift with the younger Oscar ruling the home while the father runs the store. Mother and baby are reported well.
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Belén releases schedule with sermons at 11 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Sunday services include Sunday school at 10 a.m. and a 7 p.m. youth class. Thirteen youths to be confirmed. Holy Communion to be celebrated. Freewill offering for the parsonage exceeds $1100. Dr. Yarger and Dr. Ziegler plan Albuquerque services after morning worship. Luther League at 7 replaces the night service. Ladies Aid meets Thursday afternoon with Mrs. L. C. Becker.
The Methodist Church lists Sunday School, Wowak PSP, Simmons superintendent, preaching at 11 am and 745 pm. Epworth League meets in Epworth room with Folland pastor, rest near south side. Morning and evening services by the pastor, Epworth devotional at 7 pm led by Miss Eva Alderman. Sunday School program praised. Easter offering over twenty five dollars for Home and Foreign Missions.

A statement from the governor's office rejects speculation that he plans surgery in El Paso. Officials say no medical procedure is scheduled and advise relying on official releases for health updates.
Governor William C. McDonald told a New Mexican reporter by telephone that reports of a planned El Paso operation are unfounded. He said he is improving, not in need of surgery, and will return to work soon, dismissing circulating health rumors.
The post office at 1 New Mexico lists unclaimed mail for the week of March 13 1913 with instruction to say Advertised when calling. A one cent charge applies per piece delivered. Notices name a list of names and warn unclaimed items will go to the dead letter office if not claimed by April 3 1913.
