Oil profits in Sipe Springs Texas flowed into safe investments as $1 and $1,000 Registered Treasury Savings Certificates were issued. The State Bank of Sipe Springs and three residents bought $1,000 certificates the same day, with widespread holdings representing about six dollars per person.
