Beaver county shows a thriving agricultural scene with wheat, maize, cane, broomcorn, and stock farming. Farmers invest in stock and improvements, expect longer runs of harvest, and foresee winter work. harvest and threshing extend toward Christmas while late fall frosts loom as a minor risk.
Oklahoma gubernatorial candidate John Fields likens state government to a fertile farm. He vows to hire enough workers, repair fences, fix machinery, protect crops from pests, and build a hog-proof fence to convert state affairs into profit and raise market value.
Oklahoma City reports Democratic gubernatorial candidates accused each other of ballot stealing after the primary. State officials and lawyers pursued probes while judges and depositions shifted sides. A separate notice notes the Beaver Band playing for the Ice Cream Lantern Social at Prof Fellow’s home on the 18th.

On Wednesday September 6 at the Pack the wedding of Migs Almeda Taylor and Shirles Henaler was held with Rev. C D Overton officiating. A large supper followed for thirty six guests and many neighbors contributed flowers and goods for the event. Nearby items note school events, athletic plans, and community notices including a discussion of proposed tax changes and civic remarks.
