Local County Board Proceedings 1898 Election Appointments
The Beaver county board met October 4 and 5 1898 with all members present. They adjourned sine die. Bills approved include court house repair, poor relief, coal oil, and sheriff’s fees. Election inspectors appointed in multiple precincts. Resignations accepted. Newton Pickett appointed. Tax releases, payrolls, and supplies approved. Quarterly reports and bills for printing and clerical services authorized.
