A large group of Neaver residents attended the Shriner sisterhood convention in Woodward Friday of the previous week. Local Shriners and their families joined the event hosted by the Masonic Lodge with guests including Frank Mapie O M Barr W Strune and BL Courh. The Herald mentions others among the attendees and notes Cathy of Forgan drove to Woodward Thursday afternoon and returned Saturday evening. Dr and Mrs Chas E Day were also present enjoying the time.
