Roy Brown and others noted in the want column. Monday Kiowa Ray Hayden joins Renfrew Investment Company. JR Quinn traveled to Oklahoma City for a K of P lodge function.
Mire. J. G. Goddard left Tuesday for Wichita, Kansas, to spend several days with relatives. And W. I Love of Dmney, a phaemas ciat, is employed at F. . Travy's drug sers, with George Kile visiting Clear Drink on Monday for a work-related stay.
Mea Clark and daughter Mise Mary left for Kansas City to visit relatives. Moore and family moved out Sky Place north of Flat. Huby Jackson came from near LaKemp. Mrs Lirtle Bogue returned with her for a visit. Lois Quion left Guthrie to visit friend Hazel Langeton and Miss Jack Langeton.
Ralph Cally bought one of the new Buick cars last Tuesday. Miss Lila Compack from Mt. Grove arrived Tuesday to work at Mrs. W. H. Robertson’s millinery. J. H. L. Manden of Riverside planned a public auction Tuesday, May 27th, of his personal property. W. T. Qua and family and Rev. Le de Shaw and families fished at Crook Tuesday, reporting no luck but a pleasant day. Attorney Ginn. FL Twyford of Oklahoma City visited Beaver the past week and may relocate there.
County Justice H Crabtree and wife with a child and W H Thomas traveled to Kiowa Sunday in Jusus new Buick Jim and Will fished and had fair catches Mex Crabtree visited her parents John Situs and wife Mrs J D Niles and daughter Mary arrived from Georgia with plans to stay, bringing goods for a permanent move and occupation of their residence on the west side.
Notice invites all singers to attend at the Christian Church next Tuesday evening May 20 at 8 o clock for practice songs for Memorial services and Decoration Day exercises. Everyone welcome.
Oklahoma City Oklahoma Gov Cruce signs amended prohibition act expanding penalties and forfeiture rules. Provisions require forfeiture of seized liquor and property to state, with proceeds split with prosecuting party. new fines and jail terms apply for repeat violations and unlawful acts including selling to minors or intoxicated persons. The law imposes strict sales and manufacturing restrictions, licensing, and enforcement duties for county officials and police.
Orveta Quinn was given a handsome gold watch this week by her brother Enoch in recognition of excellent grades at school. The timepiece is described as a little beauty and Orveta is rightly proud of the honor.
Mothers Day services were held Sunday evening at the Christian Church in Bone ver. Rev Shaw delivered an address honoring mothers. Special music by choir and orchestra accompanied a purple and white decor theme with carnations presented to attendees. The service was described as sacred and moving.
A Beaver Oklahoma notice invites all tender parties to a Farm Institute meeting at the Court House on Saturday May 7 at 2 PM. Attendance is urged. Also noted is the arrival of three daughters and a son of Kline Heavcamp from Massachusetts. The family will live with their father and Mrs Nola Heavehamp on the Dr Miller farm south of Beaver for the coming season.
