Mrs. OD Smith suffered a sharp foot injury Saturday after stepping on a nail that pierced her shoe sole. The nail was new and she experienced pain but recovered without serious complications. An advertisement touts Foley's Kidney Remedy for nervous exhaustion and kidney trouble, claiming it restores health and strength without harmful drugs.
The Woodward land office vacancy created by EB Wiggins death may be filled by Hoag. Dick T. Morgan of the Oklahoma delegation backs Hoag or Woodward. An almost fatal collision occurred last Saturday when a boy driving an auto behind Clarence Black’s four horse team lost control as the horses bolted. The boy, 12, was dragged into the machinery, sustaining a broken arm and fatal internal injuries. Warren did all in his power to help but the injuries were fatal shortly after. The incident underscores dangers of careless driving.
