The Corner at the Corner reports Lawson R. E. Dickson is in Kansas City this week on business. Alexander came from Knowles Tu end. Edith Loofbourrow returned last week from a visit with relatives at Gage and 9 mek.
Mrs Robison from Gate returned home after visiting relatives. Mrs W G Young and daughter Vera attended the school fair from Bilge Mound, staying with Mr. Widers. Eb Picket and Judd of Six Mile left Friday for Kansas City to study barbering, as plans for their courses unfold.
A garbled local note describes Glark and Repple visiting relatives and friends in a central area. Fuller provided amusement for spectators as Kayes Ming performed with a horse in a street display. The crowd watched a rough display end with a rider mounting and sidestepping challenges.
Dennis Raff proprietor of the City Cafe returned Tuesday from a business trip to the eastern part of the state. Dickson Rush & Dickson have moved their law office into the newly fitted quarters on Second Street, near Roberts McKiltips.
Mrs W H Robertson came back Sunday from a two city business trip to Kansas City and St Joseph. She visited relatives in those areas and noted John Barragree completed a new residence on his farm west of Beaver improving the home for his family. Warner of Northwestern Normal at Alva attended Educational fair week in Beaver acting as judge in the athletic contest.
County D. B. Kinder and wife returned Tuesday from a visit with relatives in Kentucky, noting pleasant times yet mild Ohio River flood inconveniences in the Neaded district. Texas County Superintendent Nettie B. Lynch attended Beaver County Educational Fair as a judge and guest. Beaver County native J. E. George, formerly of Beaver Ranch, now in Liberal Kansas, visited Saturday and called at the Henato office.
Beaver County staged its Third Annual Educational Fair amid good weather and strong turnout. Friday and Saturday drew large crowds as exhibits from multiple schools showcased achievements in academics athletics and home economics. The Beaver High School building wore festive colors and banners while prize winners were honored for exemplary displays across departments marking 1912-18 as a prosperous educational year.

Bill Monroe of Forgan arrested Wednesday on bootlegging charges brought by Ray Dow. Bond set at 300 dollars. Monroe held in county jail. Also noted were unrelated ads for laxatives and pills.
