Woodward Gospel Team to Visit Local Community

The Woodward Gospel Team, a company of about thirty businessmen from a neighboring city, will be in town for four meetings this weekend. Four sessions are planned, Saturday night at the Court House and Sunday at 1, 8, and 7:80 o'clock. Elaborate arrangements have been made for the team’s arrival and events.

Chancellor Brooks of Oklahoma University Norman spoke at the Christian church in Beaver on Sunday morning. His talk was described as interesting and constructive, enjoyed by a large number of attendees.

Prohibition rallies and fair to be held at Beaver district meetings

W CTU items discuss Prohibition rallies and educational fair booth with biographies and readings by home talent. A public meeting in April, county officers attend the all day event at La Kemp on Tuesday the 7th from 10 am to 4 pm with lunch at the church. Beaver Educational Fair April 23 24 25 will display curios. coin manuscripts and rare articles loaned to be labeled and returned after the fair. Books can be borrowed by those unable to attend and library hours listed. Prohibition rally plans to be organized in the country. requests for community hosts with date and place.
