Wright and a group of young men reported to the local board last week and were sent to Camp Green in North Carolina. They enlisted in the infantry branch of the service.
The Entre Nous Music club presented His Sweethearts and Her Sweethearts at Globe Monday night. The show featured George Casky and Miss Emily Nicholson as leads with a large chorus and orchestra. Proceeds totaled 129 for Beaver County American Red Cross as audiences from out of town attended and praised the event.
A Good Roads club formed in Beaver led by Attorney K. H. Loot hcarrow appoints a three member committee to investigate road fund disbursements over the past two years.
