John A. Spohn formerly of Enid is a candidate for county attorney of Beaver county. He made many friends while a resident of Enid and is praised for his character and ability. The Eagle notes his desirable qualifications and wishes him success.
A long tract argues for a rural school district system with three core provisions. It envisions district meetings with equal office power, local control of taxes and curricula, and a central graded school serving all districts. Benefits include civic virtue, shared resources, and closer rural communities.
The Iron Hand, performed by Clase Noo 2 of the Christian Bible Behoot, raised about 980.00 for building land at the Hall Friday night. The effort drew hearty praise for the young troupe and soloists Mrs. W B K Fiekel and Miss Phebe Stone provided excellent light musical interludes between acts.

Levy Pruett of Elimont and Sadie Sheppardt of Sophia were married at the Juation Meese office on a Wednesday in June. Numerous friends gathered to congratulate the couple as they joined in a local ceremony.
