She was 41, born in Missouri, survived by husband Jonew Chilcott, five children Dotte Ree sie Frank Ruby and infant, and brothers James and toward Roman and Hallie. She lived in Beaver area 22 years and was a devoted wife and mother. The home she nurtured will not shine with the same radiance. Sympathy extended to Mr. Chilcott and family. The obituary notes her faith and service to Weaver Church and references to local tax board decisions on refunds and corrections for county taxpayers.
Walter Patton of Notho Fint was killed by lightning during a storm Thursday evening while driving a team home from a neighbor’s. A horse was also killed. his body was found after a long delay by a passerby. A similar death occurred at the same place a year ago. Funeral services were held Saturday at North Platte M E Cemetery.
