Judge Crow Honored by Governor for Supreme Court Commission

Governor AL Williama appoints Judge W C Crow of thin judicial district to the state supreme court commission. He will assume duties in Mint Capacity early this month and serve until January. The Herald notes the honor and says his experience will aid the commission without greatly hindering district court work. Printing Contract Declared Invalid By District Court

The Lakemp Mirror controversy ends with Judge Crow ruling the county failed to follow publication law when designating the Mirror as official paper. Decoration Day at Beaver Reveals Strong Community Spirit

Rain threatened the morning but large crowds gathered at the cemetery for Decoration Day. Volunteers decorated graves with fine flowers, veterans and young girls forming a flowered path. In the Christina church the afternoon program drew a sizable audience with music and an address by L Shaw praising both Union veterans and Confederate veterans for their conduct and resilience.
